PELVIC FLOOR PHYSICAL THERAPY

Pelvic health PHYSICAL THERAPY

  • Plan of care and goals are individualized based on a diagnosis and assessment of pelvic health condition. Assessment will include posture and movement analysis, test and measures, joint mobility and range of motion, muscle length and flexibility, strength tests, and pelvic floor muscle assessment. A pelvic floor muscle assessment may include an external and internal vaginal or rectal examination with consent of patient.

  • Treatment sessions are individualized based on initial evaluation and diagnosis. May include manual therapy, joint mobilizations, dry needling with electric stimulation, soft tissue mobilizations, cupping, corrective exercises, home exercise program, education, body mechanics, posture, and Pilates reformer interventions. Treatment sessions may include external and internal vaginal and/or rectal manual therapy techniques to pelvic floor muscles with patient consent.

  • Initial Evaluation (60min) $180

    Single Follow-up Treatment (60min, requires prior eval) $160

PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM PHYSICAL THERAPY

  • Plan of care and goals are individualized based on a diagnosis and assessment of prenatal or postpartum health condition. Assessment will include posture and movement analysis, test and measures, joint mobility and range of motion, muscle length and flexibility, strength tests, and diastasis recti and pelvic floor muscle assessment. A pelvic floor muscle assessment may include external and internal vaginal or rectal examination with consent of patient.

  • Treatment sessions are individualized based on initial evaluation and diagnosis. May include manual therapy, joint mobilizations, dry needling with electric stimulation, soft tissue mobilizations, cupping, corrective exercises, home exercise program, education, body mechanics, posture, and Pilates reformer interventions. Prenatal education will include labor and delivery prep. Postpartum education will include after delivery plan of care for healing and safe return to exercise. Treatment sessions may include external and internal vaginal and/or rectal manual therapy techniques to pelvic floor muscles with patient consent.

  • Initial Evaluation (60min) $180

RETURN TO FITNESS POSTPARTUM

  • Plan of care and goals are individualized based on a diagnosis and assessment of postpartum health condition. Assessment will include posture and movement analysis, test and measures, joint mobility and range of motion, muscle length and flexibility, strength tests, and diastasis recti and pelvic floor muscle assessment. A pelvic floor muscle assessment may include external and internal vaginal or rectal examination with consent of patient.

  • Treatment sessions are individualized based on initial evaluation and diagnosis of postpartum condition. May include manual therapy, joint mobilizations, dry needling with electric stimulation, soft tissue mobilizations, cupping, corrective exercises, home exercise program, education, body mechanics, posture, and Pilates reformer interventions. Return to fitness postpartum will include strength and load impact assessment for safe return to fitness or running with pelvic floor dysfunction. Treatment sessions may include external and internal vaginal and/or rectal manual therapy techniques to pelvic floor muscles with patient consent.
